His favorite sculptor has always been Rodin. His figures possess an immediate relatability viewers can see themselves in each gesture and form. Yet, art without symbolism can sometimes feel as dull as dishwater.
Ironically, there is no symbolism in DIAX. The intrigue lies in each piece as a direct snapshot of the artist’s mind. Long fascinated by numbers and sequences, he approaches every sculpture as a study in precision—each one formed from a single sheet of steel, shaped according to a meticulous drawing template that allows exact reproduction. It is a simple sheet of steel, elevated to art—a process as essential as the result itself.
